The Joan Configurator is currently available for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
In order to download it for your OS, please follow the instructions below:
Joan Configurator for Windows
- To download it, click here
Once it is downloaded, run the "JoanConfigurator_windows.exe" file
Joan Configurator for macOS
There are two versions of the Joan Configurator for macOS. One for macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and the other for all older macOS versions. It is crucial to download the correct version, otherwise, some problems may arise in the configuring process.
- To download the Joan Configurator for macOS 10.14 (Mojave), click here
- To download the Joan Configurator for macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and older versions, click here
Once it is downloaded, double-click on the downloaded archive to expand the contents.
If one of the two versions of the Joan Configurator does not seem to work properly, please download the other one and try connecting your device through that one, no matter which macOS you may have on your machine.
Joan Configurator for Linux
- To download it, click here
In order to run it, please follow these steps:
- Open the Terminal
- Navigate to the destination folder where you downloaded the file. For example
cd Downloads
- Make the file executable by running the following command
sudo chmod +x ./JoanConfigurator_linux
- Run the Joan Configurator as a superuser with the following command
sudo ./JoanConfigurator_linux
