How to add a custom description to your Joan 13?

Whether you wish to display your company’s slogan or provide some additional information about the resource you can do so by adding a custom message/description to your Joan 13 device.

This feature is available for all Joan 13 functionalities, but the length of the description text will vary across them. To learn about all of the available functionalities for Joan 13 devices, click here.

How to add a description message to your Joan 13 device:

1. Log in to Joan Portal with your account credentials
2. Navigate to the “Manage” page via the top navigation menu
3. Select “Devices” from the left-hand side menu
4. A table of all your devices will be visible. Select the Joan 13 device you wish to customize
5. A new “Edit device” page will appear
6. Locate the “Description” text field and input your desired message
7. Once satisfied with your message, navigate to the bottom of the page and click “Save”

And that’s it! You have successfully added a custom description. Your Joan 13 device will now update with the latest settings.
