How to activate or change your subscription plan after the billing simplifications

Want to have access to those extra features and functionalities or wish to change the billing period? No problem!

Upgrading your subscription plan takes only a few clicks.

How to activate your subscription plan

  1. Log in to Joan Portal with your account credentials
  2. Navigate to the “Settings” page via the top navigation menu
  3. Select “Plans & Billing” from the left-hand side menu
  4. Under the “Subscription plans” section, click the “Select subscription plan” button
  5. A new page will open with available subscription options
  6. Toggle between being billed monthly or yearly
  7. Select a subscription plan by clicking the “Get Essentials/Professional/Enterprise” button once you have decided on one
  8. You will be forwarded to a “Cost estimate” page. Here, you will see the cost structure of your plan based on the chosen plan, the number of paired devices*, and tax if applicable.
    *Please note: The number of device licences is calculated automatically, based on the number of paired devices on your account. Once the plan is activated, you won't be able to decrease the number of device licences.
  9. Click “Confirm” once you are ready.

How to change the number of device licences, after pairing additional devices

  1. Log in to Joan Portal with your account credentials
  2. Navigate to the “Settings” page via the top navigation menu
  3. Select “Plans & Billing” from the left-hand side menu
  4. Under the “Subscription plans” section, search for the ''Current amount section''
  5. Click the ''change'' buttonchange number of licenses

  6. Increase the number of device licences accordingly, based on how many new devices you paired
  7. Click ''Confirm'' once you are ready.

*Please note: Once the plan is activated, you won't be able to decrease the number of device licences. In case you've added too many device licenses, please reach out to our sales team at sales@getjoan.com.


How to change your subscription plan

Important note: Unfortunately, changing the currency of your subscription (EUR or USD) is not possible while you have an active subscription plan. If you would like to change the currency, you will need to reach out to support@getjoan.com.
