The Notification Hub is your central place to view and manage all notifications within your Joan system. From low battery warnings to booking updates, the notification archive ensures no important message is missed.
What is the Notification Hub?
The Notification Hub is a repository for system-wide messages, including:
- Device status updates (e.g., low battery)
- Desk and room booking changes
- Visitor check-in messages
- System performance notifications
When a new notification arrives, a red dot appears on the bell icon in the top-right corner of your Joan Portal dashboard.
Clicking the bell icon opens a preview of your most recent unread notifications and takes you to the Notification Hub. Notifications are stored in an archive so you can review them anytime — even if they’ve already been marked as read.
How to Access Notifications
- Log in to your Joan Portal.
- Navigate to Schedule -> Notifications on the left-hand sidebar.
- Use the filter bar at the top to:
- View all types or select specific categories
- Toggle to show only unread messages
- Mark all as read with one click
You will see a list of notifications sorted by date. Clicking on each item gives you more detail and actions (if applicable).
Managing Notification Preferences
You can customize how and where you receive notifications by going to Settings -> Account -> Notification settings.
From there, you can choose your preferred channels for each notification type.
Make sure to click Save after making changes.
