The Joan Visitor Management system can be installed on any tablet, iPad or laptop, giving you the flexibility to offer ad-hoc check-ins at the reception.
How to pair a tablet or a laptop?
In order to efficiently use the easy check-in process, you need to pair a tablet to your account. The system can be installed on any tablet or iPad. You can download the Joan Workplace Management application via Google Play or the Apple Store.
After you have successfully downloaded the Joan Workplace Management application, you are ready to pair your device!
- Log in to my.getjoan.com
- Navigate to Settings and click Visitors in the left-hand menu
- Click the section Devices
- Click Pair a device and select Tablet
- Set the tablet's name and location
- Select the associated printer, if you are using one. If you have not set up a badge printer yet, please check the second part of this article
- Enter the PIN code that is displayed on the tablet and click Pair device
To pair your laptop, as opposed to a tablet, begin by visiting the website https://visitor.getjoan.com on the laptop itself to obtain the PIN.
After obtaining the PIN from the website, proceed to follow the previously provided instructions to complete the pairing process on your laptop.
