Create an event in your calendar, invite your visitor(s), add invite@getjoan.com to the guest list and have the visit information displayed in MyJoan.
Enable Automatic visitor registration via room calendar
To Enable Automatic visitor registration via room calendar, follow the steps below:
1. Log in to my.getjoan.com
2. Go to Settings and then General Settings in the Visitors section
3. Scroll to "Automatic visitor registration via room calendar" option and toggle it on
4. Click Save.
Set a building for a user
To ensure a smooth process when sending a calendar invite to your visitor, it's important to have a building set in MyJoan. If you're unsure how to do this, follow the steps below:
1. Log in to my.getjoan.com.
2. Go to Settings and select User Directory
3. Locate your name and click on Edit.
4. Under Default Building, choose the appropriate building.
5. Click Save.
Once you have set a building, you can easily create visits directly from your calendar. The visit information will then be displayed in the Visitors section of the Schedule view.
How to create a visit from your calendar?
1. Log in to your calendar (Google/Office 365).
2. Create a new event.
3. Invite your visitors and make sure to add invite@getjoan.com to the guest list as well.
4. The visitor will receive an invitation email and the visit details will be shown in MyJoan.
