A: To connect the tablet to your Joan. Office account, please follow the instructions provided in the portal. If you encounter any issues, I suggest removing the tablet from the account and then reconnecting it. If this step doesn't resolve the problem, please contact our support team at support@getjoan.com. They will assist you in sorting out the issue promptly, ensuring you can begin testing as soon as possible.

Q: Does the Joan mobile app notify the host about the guest's arrival? Does it send an email notification? Or does it do both?

A: Yes, the host will receive notifications via SMS, email, and mobile notification. Each employee or host can configure their preferred type of notification.

Q: Are there any plans to integrate with Microsoft Teams in the future?

A: Yes, there are plans to integrate with Microsoft Teams. This means that in addition to receiving mobile, SMS, and email notifications, hosts will also be notified about visitor arrivals through Microsoft Teams.

Q: Is it possible for a non-pre-registered customer to fill out the form on the tablet? Can they also select a specific employee they wish to visit and receive a notification?

A: Yes, we do support ad-hoc visits, where the visitor can enter the name of the employee they are visiting. Once the visitor enters the employee's name, the host will receive a notification informing them that someone is waiting for them, such as in the lobby.

Q: Is there a method to authenticate visitors using a photo or SMS message? We have strict biometric security rules and want to ensure that we do not encounter situations where visitors use fake names.

A: Currently, the photo/SMS security verification feature for visitors is not available. However, we have plans to incorporate a visitor photo option that can be used later for biometric verification purposes.

Q: Does Joan Visitor management provide reports?

A: In the Joan Office dashboard, you have access to a comprehensive visitor log. Additionally, you can generate reports by exporting the data in CSV format.

Q: Is possible to use a personal ID to identify the visitor (using a QR scanner to scan the ID document)?

A: Currently, automatic ID verification is not supported.

Q: Does the tablet interface support screen rotation?

A: At the moment, the tablet only supports portrait mode.

Q: Is the Visitor management system suitable for tracking visits to events? If a company has multiple events happening at different locations, can they create separate buildings within the system to manage each event?

A: Yes, you can create multiple locations and configure them according to your specific needs. For managing events, we recommend using the bulk invite method, which allows you to send invitations to multiple visitors simultaneously. Q: What is the subscription cost for Joan Visitor management?

A: The subscription cost is 99 EUR/USD per location per month on an annual plan. We also provide discounts for early adopters.
